The 207 is one of the most popular small cars produced by the French automaker Peugeot. The model debuted in 2006, just one year after it became one of the best selling cars in Europe. The vehicle is a great option for those who seek a decent second hand machine because a used Peugeot 207 model from the beginning of the cars’ production stint can be purchased for less than 70 percent of a new one’s price. Choosing the 207 is getting a roomy vehicle with good body control through the corners and suspension, which absorbs most of the bumps. The engine line-up offers many units, but I would not recommend getting the 75 BHP, 1.4 litre petrol or 1.4 litre diesels as they are quite underpowered. If you can stretch your budget a little bit then consider a used Peugeot 207 with the 120 BHP, 1.6 litre petrol engines or a solid and economic 1.6 litre diesel unit. When it comes to the interior, the vehicle gives much better driving position than the 206 and the possibility to adjust the driver’s seat height and position of the steering wheel. The space for those in the front is great, while the legroom in the rear could be better. The size of the boot is very reasonable, but once the rear seats are folded, it allows the transport of really big amounts of cargo. Overall, getting a used Peugeot 207 is a very good option for the seekers of a decent urban car offering comfort and excellent driving properties.
